Adjustable Diaper Cover – 0-6 months

Happy Friday! As promised, here is the first installation of our Free Pattern Friday.

Today’s free pattern is an adjustable diaper cover. What makes it adjustable? The fact that you will be adding a button (or similar embellishment) on the waist band which will be worked in triple crochets. The triple crochets will act as a button hole and can be adjusted as needed. This will comfortably fit a 0-6 month old baby.

  1. hey there!
This crochets up really nice and is super cute! However I did find that chaining 3 made my edging too loose and didn’t line up properly, I did find chaining 2 was a lot tighter. I don’t know if any one else happen to run into this issue as well.

    Thanks!

  2. This pattern was easy and fast to work up. I found the same issue as katlyn. One side was tight and clean the other was loose and sloppy looking. Im gonna try her suggestion for 2 chains instead of 3

  3. Can you provide a gauge for the adjustable diaper cover? I wanted to make it for a year old baby. Thanks in advance.

  4. My daughter’s best friend is pregnant so I was looking for stuff to make, what an awesome project so easy to do I am going to make one in pink to go with the hat and booties I made thank you for a great pattern

  5. Hey.

Thank you for this easy and simply project. I tried this for my 3 month old baby, but it seems to be too small for him. Am i doing something wrong?
